April Sanders was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  Her mother and grandmother are self-taught artists who introduced her to the paintbrush at a young age. She and her husband spent four wonderful years in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was encouraged by the creative community. Her work is constantly evolving as she explores various mediums and methods. She moved back to Texas in 2019 and now enjoys caring for her two little ones at home and painting during naptime. She is excited to see what the future holds for her as an artist and is so grateful for the support over the last several years.
